About Atkins Insurance

Most people know me as Debbie, but you can call me either; however I would rather not speak of myself. My primary focus has always been on my family. I grew up as the youngest of seven sisters on a small farm south of Hillsboro; I will always be a farm girl at heart. I was blessed to have ponies, horses, sheep, cattle, and chickens, and to help my mom in the garden (my main job was to make her sweet tea, but I liked to help her do the planting). Now I am a mother myself. My husband and I have been married since 2008 and have four biological children and two bonus children. My main focus is to be there for my children and to help them grow up to become the best version of themselves. I currently have my Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses, but I hope to continue learning more lines, such as Life and maybe Health, down the road. My goal is to help people save money while protecting those things that matter most.
